At Avondale we pride ourselves on our personal approach to each project. Every project has Director involvement from the outset through the initial stages of job costing and planning the building process through to handover and completion.
Pre-Construction
The pre-construction phase is critical in that decisions made during this phase can affect the budget, schedule and quality of a project.
During this pre-construction phase we can provide advice and guidance regarding the sourcing and availability of labour and materials and the cost differential in selecting alternatives in the design process, material selection and programme.
Our expertise, experience and depth of knowledge within the fit out and refurbishment market ensures your project is being handled by experts with many years of experience and a strong desire to create a great project and a happy client team.
Construction
At Avondale we coordinate, manage and supervise the construction process to ensure that the project adheres to the contract documents and that it is built safely.
We offer advice on cost and time implication scenarios throughout should the parameters of the project change when underway so that you know fully where you are at in terms of project deadline and cost certainty.
We will review and approve all progress payments ensuring that products have been delivered and equipment or systems have been approved.
We coordinate delivery of the O&M Manuals so that on completion you are given an up-to-date folder incorporating all essential documentation including equipment warranties and guarantees.
Finally, we manage the whole process of client move-in and building occupancy and often continue to be involved with you post-occupancy when you have a need for a smaller work requirement.
Smaller Projects and Aftercare
We value the relationships we have with our clients and hope to look after you when the major project is completed. For all projects up to and around £100K our dedicated special works team coordinate the smaller projects that are often as demanding and complex as some of the larger ones !
We can procure and manage the design process, either through the clients’ own design team or by using our own contacts within the industry.
Furniture Selection
We offer an independent furniture procurement service that covers pre-occupancy evaluation, furniture recommendations, pricing options and installation.
